Target Traps Wild Boar, but the Monkey Gets Away

Deep in the forest, a group of villagers devised a plan to catch a wild boar that had been wreaking havoc on their crops. The leader of the group, Ravi, set up a clever trap near a clearing. He knew the boar frequented the spot, attracted by the abundance of fruit that fell from the nearby trees.

The trap was simple but effective. A sturdy net was carefully concealed beneath a pile of leaves, baited with ripe mangoes. The villagers waited patiently, hidden among the trees, their eyes fixed on the clearing.

As expected, the wild boar eventually appeared, sniffing the air cautiously. It took a few hesitant steps toward the bait, but just as it was about to take a bite, something unexpected happened.

A mischievous monkey, drawn by the same sweet aroma, swung down from the branches above. Quick as lightning, it grabbed a mango and scampered back up the tree. The wild boar, startled by the monkey’s sudden appearance, bolted in the opposite direction, avoiding the trap entirely.

The villagers couldn’t help but laugh at the scene. The monkey perched on a high branch, happily munching on the stolen mango, seemingly unaware of the chaos it had caused. Meanwhile, the wild boar was nowhere to be seen, leaving the villagers to reset their trap.

Though they didn’t catch the boar that day, the villagers couldn’t stay mad. The monkey’s playful antics turned their frustration into amusement, reminding them that life in the forest was unpredictable and full of surprises.

As they packed up for the evening, Ravi chuckled and said, “The boar escaped this time, but at least we got a good story to share!” Everyone agreed, their laughter echoing through the trees.
