The Snake Attacked the Monkey

In the heart of a lush jungle, where sunlight barely pierced the canopy, a curious monkey named Tiko played among the branches. Tiko was known for his adventurous spirit, often exploring places others dared not venture. One fateful morning, his curiosity led him near a quiet, swampy area—a place whispered to be home to a deadly predator.

As Tiko swung through the trees, his sharp eyes caught sight of a brilliant red fruit dangling close to the ground. Without hesitation, he scampered down the trunk, unaware that he was trespassing into the lair of a large, venomous cobra. The snake, coiled under the cover of thick ferns, watched Tiko with unblinking eyes, its forked tongue flicking the air.

Tiko plucked the fruit, but as he prepared to take a bite, a sudden hiss froze him in his tracks. Emerging from the shadows, the cobra raised its hood, displaying menacing markings. Before Tiko could react, the snake lunged with lightning speed.

The monkey leaped backward, narrowly avoiding the strike, but the cobra wasn’t finished. With a chilling precision, it coiled and struck again. Tiko scrambled up a tree, his heartbeat racing, gripping a branch tightly as the snake hissed below.

Realizing he had invaded the cobra’s territory, Tiko’s instincts took over. He flung the fruit toward the snake as a distraction, giving himself just enough time to retreat further into the trees.

Though shaken, Tiko learned a harsh lesson about the dangers of venturing into unknown territories. The jungle was a place of beauty but also peril, where survival depended on respect for its inhabitants. From that day forward, Tiko vowed to tread carefully, his narrow escape forever etched into his memory.
